Former Obama aides criticize Jill Biden for rewriting Biden administration history

Jill Biden is back in the spotlight, and judging by the reaction from Democrats, her new memoir may be reopening wounds many in her own party would rather leave closed. 

For months, Democrats have been trying to turn the page on 2024 and focus on the future. They want voters thinking about the economy, healthcare and the upcoming midterms. Instead, they’re once again answering questions about Joe Biden’s age, Hunter Biden, and whether the American public was told the full story during the final stretch of his presidency.  

That exchange is getting attention because it runs headfirst into what millions of Americans watched with their own eyes during that infamous debate. What’s striking isn’t just what Jill Biden is saying now, it’s that many Democrats seem frustrated that this conversation is happening at all.  

I get — defending your husband is honorable, but leaving the past in the past and not trying to sell books is also honorable.
