Dr. Oz to helm White House press briefing 

Dr. Mehmet Oz, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator, will host the White House press briefing on Tuesday, becoming the latest Trump administration official to fill in for press secretary Karoline while she is on maternity leave. 

Oz follows Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent at the briefing room podium. 

The physician turned government official will likely feel comfortable at the podium given his extensive media experience. Prior to serving as CMS administrator, Oz ran for Senate in Pennsylvania and was a television personality and host.
