Jill Biden says her husband ‘would have’ beaten Trump in 2024 election

Jill Biden says that had he stayed in the 2024 White House race, then-President Biden would’ve defeated President Trump.

“I believe he would have beat Donald Trump in that election,” the former first lady said of her husband during a Tuesday interview on MS Now’s “Morning Joe.”

Biden dropped out of the presidential race in July 2024 following a disastrous debate against Trump and amid concerns about his physical and mental acuity.

Trump became the first president in more than 120 years to lose the White House and then come back to win it again after defeating then-Vice President Harris, who took over at the top of the ticket after Biden bowed out.

Following Biden’s debate performance, “Morning Joe” co-host Willie Geist said, there were many Democrats who “thought in some ways they’d been duped.”
