Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Hamill to join pro-immigration ‘American Tail’ live reading
A slew of stars — including “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill, Jesse Eisenberg, “The West Wing’s” Dulé Hill and Bernadette Peters — are bringing a classic animated film to life in a show of support for immigrant communities.
The entertainers will perform a live reading of the 1986 film “An American Tail,” at a Sep. 10 virtual benefit hosted by the Workers Circle.
The Jewish social justice organization said the star-studded reading is part of its “ongoing efforts to defend this country’s immigrant communities during President Trump’s second term and to build a more just and inclusive democracy.”
