Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) deleted a series of tweets on Tuesday that promoted unfounded conspiracy theories about the man suspected in the deadly shooting of two Minnesota Democrats and their spouses.
Sen. Tina Smith (D-Minn.) confronted Lee over the messages in the Capitol on Monday, while Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) condemned the posts on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Monday morning and said she too planned to speak to Lee this week.
