It’s Monday — Happy June! After sending out Friday’s newsletter with an informal poll of whether you prefer Diet Coke vs. Coke Zero, I was immediately flooded with preferences for Coke Zero. I have to say: that was quite humbling for me as a Diet Coke fan — or a “fridge cigarette” as one reader joked. But over the weekend, Diet Coke slowly caught up and edged out Coke Zero.
There’s still time to weigh in! Which do you like better, Diet Coke or Coke Zero? Click one to vote!

🚫 THE LATEST WITH IRAN
We were one step forward and now two steps back:

Iran says today it will close the Strait of Hormuz and stop communicating with the U.S., accusing the Trump administration of violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
That’s according to Iran’s state-affiliated outlet Tasnim News Agency.
How Iran thinks the U.S. has violated the ceasefire: Iran pointed to Israel’s military operations in Lebanon as the violation. Remember, the U.S. is not directly involved in the Iran-Lebanon conflict but has partnered with Israel in the Iran war.
“The United States and Israel bear responsibility for the consequences of any breach of the truce,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote in a post.
Timing: The U.S. and Iran were on the verge of a peace agreement and were waiting for President Trump’s approval. It’s unclear what this development means for that agreement.
