Trump shares fake Sen. Kennedy quote about Obama
President Trump on Monday shared a quote falsely attributed to Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), in which he accused former President Obama of earning $120 million from a healthcare scheme.
The Truth Social post included a screenshot of a statement from one user that read, “U.S. Senator John Kennedy is now publicly demanding that Barack Hussein Obama return $120 million that he allegedly earned through ownership related to ‘Obamacare.’”
The poster also alleged the former president “allocated money under his own laws using taxpayer-generated prestige,” and they said the Louisiana Republican called it “an abuse of public office and blatant influence.”
