Trump’s disapproval rating hits new high: Poll

President Trump’s disapproval rating has a reached a new high according to recent poll results. 

A ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll released Friday found that 62 percent of Americans disapprove of the president. Survey results reflect an increase of 2 percentage points from February, and respondents concerns include the cost of living, affordability and inflation. 

Seventy-two percent of poll participants disapprovde of how Trump is handling inflation — a 7 point increase from two months ago. Twenty-seven percent of poll respondents, meanwhile, approved of Trump’s handling of inflation, and 1 percent skipped the question. 

Similarly, 76 percent, disapproved of how Trump is handling the cost of living in the U.S. while 23 percent approved. One percent of respondents skipped the question. 

Trump has previously said he “won” the issue of affordability, while claiming that inflation amid the war would not last for long.
