Hogan: Republicans never got ‘back to sanity’
Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) said in a new interview that the Republican Party never got “back to sanity,”
Hogan told The Washington Post that he thought the GOP would eventually get “back to sanity” after the 2024 presidential election in which President Trump won a second term in the White House, but “we haven’t.”
The former Maryland governor, who vowed not to run for office again after losing his Senate bid to a Democrat, told the Post he’s “jaded” by the climate inside the GOP.
He’s hoping that November midterm elections will mark a shift on a national scale.
