Pakistan’s economic situation

Pakistan’s economy is facing serious challenges. The economic situation has deteriorated. Due to the poor economy, millions of people are living below the poverty line. Inflation has increased immensely and the unemployment rate is also increasing. Agriculture is heading towards destruction, although agriculture used to take care of Pakistan’s economy. It is not understood why the agricultural sector is being destroyed? The country’s economy could have been much better with agriculture, but who knows whose goals are being fulfilled by ignoring this sector? The poor farmer spends a lot of money and works hard, but he gets less income than expected, which has made him disappointed. Neither fertilizer nor other inputs are being made cheaper for farmers. Perhaps the government wants to completely eliminate agriculture.

The industrial sector is also declining and other institutions are being sold. Some time ago, Pakistan was not good economically, but it was not weak either, but now the situation has deteriorated greatly. Businesses are also going into a deep recession and both government and non-government organizations are facing financial difficulties. Government employees also seem very worried about the situation. The working class has also come under great pressure. The government should have improved the situation, but strange experiments are being conducted. Doesn’t the government want the common man to be given the right to live? Due to the weak economy, the common man has come close to committing suicide and many people have even committed suicide due to poverty.

It is also true that some global situations are also affecting Pakistan’s economy. For example, the Iran war is also damaging the Pakistani economy. Nowadays, war does not only affect a specific region but also leaves its effects globally. Environmental changes or natural disasters are also severely damaging the country’s economy. A major reason for poverty is external debt, as well as other problems, but the government cannot be exempted either. The government can improve the economy if it wants to. In view of the current situation, the government has taken some positive steps, but they are also unable to manage the economy. Just as it has been announced to reduce incentives, they can help manage the economy. Maybe some more steps should be taken, this will give the impression that the government is seriously trying to improve the economy.

The incentives of the rulers may have decreased somewhat, but more steps will have to be taken (according to many, these are just announcements to pleasure the people, the incentives have not actually been reduced). Oil prices are very high. have increased, similarly, the prices of gas and electricity have also been increased significantly. Other taxes have also been increased significantly. The government should bring all taxes, including electricity taxes, within reasonable limits. Special attention should also be paid to the agricultural and industrial sectors.

Political stability is also necessary in Pakistan, this will strengthen democracy. When democracy is strong, the economy also starts moving towards improvement. Pakistan also has a lot of natural resources, they should be spent for public welfare. Instead of eliminating employment opportunities, we have to create more. We have to make some policies that will strengthen the country’s economy. The biggest problem is to gain freedom from the IMF and other usurious institutions. The rupee must also be stabilized and other employment opportunities must be created, only then can the country’s economy improve. Corruption has also spread widely in the country, it must also be controlled. Terrorism is also harming the country and it is also affecting the economy, so the scourge like terrorism must also be uprooted. Lack of merit has also hollowed out the country’s economy, so it is important to adopt a transparent system like merit. Due to lack of merit, nepotism, bribery and injustice have increased a lot. Due to lack of merit, incompetent people are appointed to these posts. They arrive where competent people should have been. When incompetent people take office, the economy automatically starts to deteriorate.

The economy can still be improved. Due to its economic weakness, Pakistan cannot trade freely with any country. If Pakistan trades freely, it can gain a lot of benefits. For example, oil purchased at high prices can also be purchased at cheap prices if it is not purchased from specific countries. The same situation applies to other goods. If many such needs are not purchased from specific countries, Pakistan can save a lot of capital. More industries will have to be established in Pakistan and the ones that already exist will have to be run better. The country’s economy is not so bad that it cannot be managed. China is currently making great progress in the global economy. By getting its cooperation and cooperating with it, it can go a long way. It is to be hoped that Pakistan’s economy will start improving soon.
