Is Donald Trump’s intrepid adventure in Venezuela about drugs, gangs, illegal immigrants, Cuba/Russia, Iran’s ambitions in the region, Western Hemisphere security or oil?

Trump essentially sent a federal Uber for President Maduro, his marshals (our gallant military) to pick up a narco-terrorist who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in New York. He has that right; we’ve done this in the past.

The left has sadly lost credibility by reflexively going berserk over everything Trump does. We need reasoned pushback, but the left has squandered credibility by perpetually crying “Wolf.”

They say Trump is doing this for oil, so they might stop calling him “Hitler” and start calling him “Dick Cheney.” If he is doing this to say “No” to drugs, then they might go even further and call him “Nancy Reagan.”

The news won’t stand still long enough for me to digest this, but what we can conclude is that feds really do not care much about you until they find out you have lots of oil. Examples? Iraq, Libya, Iran, Venezuela and P. Diddy.
