RON HART: The Democratic Party’s Great White Hope Flames Out

Eric Swalwell was forced out of the California governor’s race, then his Congressional seat, when one of the worst kept secrets in politics, his alleged sexual assaults, came to light. Whoever takes his Congressional seat best Lysol it first.

Swalwell was the rare white male face of the Democrat Party. He spent more time on CNN and MSNBC than some of their anchors. He was the Democrat attack dog, and his mentor, Nancy Pelosi, held the leash. She kept him on the Intel committee, even after he was found to be allegedly cavorting with a Chinese spy (Fang Fang), and he was on Impeachments and J6 shams as well.

Pelosi lost the Speaker’s gavel in 2023 and was offered the post of Minority Whip. She said “no” — that sounded more like something her husband would like.

As big a thorn in the Dems’ side as Swalwell was, the GOP did not push the well-known info of Swalwell’s alleged peccadillos out on him; it took fellow dirty Democrats to do it. When Swalwell was leading the Democrats in the gubernatorial polls, other Democrats did what they do best. They torpedoed him, realizing that he allegedly had a well-known “zipper problem” with both his pants and his mouth. (RELATED: Woman Alleges Eric Swalwell Drugged, Raped Her In New Scandal)

Politics for establishment Democrats is a blood sport and mafia-like blackmail ring; Republicans are not as devious. 

From coast to coast, many women are coming forward to share their Swalwell stories. It seems orchestrated, but legit. If it was one nut job looking for money it would be nothing, but this appears to be Swalwell’s body of work over decades. They are naming a breakfast after Swalwell at Denny’s: toast.

Eric Swalwell vowed to fight the sex assault charges last Friday and apologized to his wife. Out of habit, Hillary Clinton came forward and defended him. 

Sex is undefeated. Many Democratic politicians have met the same fate. Ninety percent of Epstein Island frequent flyers were Dems. Elliot Spitzer, who went after Republicans, was found to be a freak with hookers. In 2008, I wrote about both men in my award-eligible column, Spitzer Swalwells.

This scandal is nothing new. When I was at Georgetown University and worked in the Reagan Administration, we called Washington D.C. “Hollywood for ugly people.” The lure of power, being away from your family, egos, a cocktail party every night, interns, lobbyists, spies, etc. is the perfect cocktail for monkey business. 

I know there have been many shakedowns of innocent men when “Me Too” went unquestioned. Even my Drunkle Mac had it figured out in 2020. He said he might sue someone at the construction company he did drywall for to get some of that “MeToo” money. I asked him whom he was going to sue, and he said, “Anyone willing to settle.”

Swalwell attacked Judge Brett Kavanaugh on the manufactured claim by leftist college professor Christine Blasey Ford that they made out at a junior high school party forty years earlier. SOP for Dems. CNN is currently auditioning victims for Trump’s next Supreme Court pick.

There is a big Congressional pool of money that has settled these Swalwell-like cases. That slush fund is our money; it is egregious that Congress keeps voting to not let us know who settled with whom. (RELATED: Eric Swalwell Dug His Own Grave, Now Fighting To Climb Out Of It)

A remedial vote was not even close — on March 4, 2026, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 357–65 to effectively kill a resolution (H.R. 1100) that would have required the public release of records regarding sexual harassment and misconduct investigations involving members of Congress.

With Swalwell’s relationship with the alleged Chinese spy, Fang Fang, the Dems kept Swalwell on the Intel Committee.  What is it with the Dems and Chinese influence? Senator Barbara Feinstein had a Chinese driver, NY Governor Hochul allegedly had a Chinese plant infiltrate her office. Biden’s office at U. Penn was reportedly funded by the Chinese. One thing you know: When they swallow the Chinese influence, about an hour later politicians are hungry for more. 

Dems protected Joe Biden from credible rape allegations by Tara Reade in 2020 because they needed him then. To Dems, this is not about protecting women, it’s about power.

While we have to let Swalwell have due process, with high profile people accusations go with the territory. Katy Perry was recently accused by fellow actress Ruby Rose of sexually assaulting her. This is groundbreaking, as it marks the first ever sexual wrongdoing allegations leveled against an American astronaut.
