Ford is ditching its fully electric pickup trucks and adding gas generators to its EVs, giving former President Joe Biden’s failed green energy buildout yet another kick in the scrotum.
On Monday, Ford announced it had ended its production of the all-electric F-150 Lightning. Ford is now introducing an “extended range electric vehicle” variant of the F-150 Lightning, which features a gasoline-powered generator capable of extending the truck’s battery range by 700 miles, according to a report.
