Nearly 18 months after Democrats lost the White House and control of Congress to President Donald Trump and Republicans, the party remains without a clear direction or dominant leader.
As Democrats prepare for the 2026 midterm elections, the party faces significant challenges in regaining voter confidence following the policy record of the Biden-Harris administration.
