Hollywood star George Clooney and his family have been granted French citizenship, years after turning their backs on America.

Government documents show Clooney, his wife Amal and their twins, Alexander and Ella, recently obtained French citizenship, according to CNN. The move comes long after the family declared their French farm their primary residence, citing frustration with paparazzi and relentless media attention in the U.S.
