KATY GORDON: I’m glad V&A Dundee is getting a new look
As Sheryl Crow sang, “a change would do you good”.
And when it comes to the V&A Dundee, I can get right on board with that sentiment.
There has been some negativity around the upcoming plans for V&A Dundee, not least from the right honourable gentleman from Dundee, Jim Spence.
But I see change as a good thing.
The museum opened in 2018 to great fanfare after years of planning and construction.
But as anyone who has been involved with the creation of something new knows, you don’t get everything spot on the first time round.
Writers bring out new editions and reprints of books, football managers change their line-ups and builders do rounds of snagging.
So it comes as no surprise to me that the bosses at the design museum are giving the inside of the place a revamp after eight years.
What I really appreciate is that the people behind the work seem to have taken on board what visitors have told........
