The ruling Liberal Democratic Party has compiled its recommendations for revising three national security documents planned by the government before year-end.

While no specific numerical goals were set for defense spending, the document called for transforming defense capabilities within five years, clearly indicating that the LDP is thinking about major increases.

So, the party must be deemed irresponsible as it did not mention where the revenues would come from to cover that higher defense spending.

The recommendations defined as pillars for strengthening defense capabilities dealing with a new form of fighting that utilizes drones and artificial intelligence as well as securing the ability to continue fighting by procuring enough ammunition, parts, fuel and provisions in yearly units.
