Glenn Maxwell, Nic Maddinson and Will Pucovski may all be cricketers, but the reasons behind their decisions to take time out from cricket are likely to differ and aren't necessarily related to their sport.

The uncapped Pucovski, in Perth for the Australia A game, has pulled out of Test selection for next week's series opener against Pakistan, having experienced "some challenges".
