Why is it that makes some people think they are indomitable once confined in the safety of their own vehicle? Once the doors are shut, they have licence to act like a cage fighter on speed.

A friend of mine with a reputation for being the most likeable easy-going fellow one could ever meet turns out to be Mr Hyde behind the wheel. He told me that once he had missed his own exit from the M4 so determined was he to block the path of another driver who had the temerity to roar up the outside lane and was trying to cut in and jump the queue.

I doubt he would have tried to physically stand in the way of queue jumper if he was outside of his four-wheeled........
