If you want to know how to handle being micromanaged, you must first be able to recognise the signs. If your manager wants to monitor all your activities or expects you to report on every small detail and measurable related to your job, chances are you are being micromanaged.

If you’ve ever worked with a micromanager before, you’ll probably appreciate that whatever their behaviours are, they always serve to block your independent decision-making. Unfortunately, keeping control is often a big factor in micromanagement, and it can easily take away from your own learning and development.
