Praise and gratitude for bikers' festive toy run to Swindon's GWH

Hundreds of bikers taking part in the 34th annual Christmas toy run to support Great Western Hospital were praised and celebrated by grateful Swindonians.

The Pinkerton's Motorcycle Club's Christmas toy run takes place every year and sees hundreds of bikers from across Swindon come together to deliver toys and equipment to the Great Western Hospital's children's ward.

The procession, which took place on Saturday, December 13, raised £2,000 for the day and included around 259 people.

A spokesperson said: “Since 1992, we have organised an annual ‘Toy Run’, for local Bikers & Trickers to help us deliver gifts to the Hospital and bring a smile to the children’s faces."

Earlier this month, they posted on their Facebook page thanking locals for their donations, raising £8,073.27 for the Christmas toy run 2025.

Here’s what you had to say on the matter.

Sebrina Draper said: "I watched them all along by the hospital ,showing support as a friend was also riding, absolutely amazing to see, some of them looked amazing too, the Grinches........
