OPINION: There were fond tears and hugs today as four Democratic congresswomen, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, bade farewell to Washington, DC and set off for the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came.

The four were responding to President Trump's demand that they return to where they originally came from, "the countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world".

"Yep, he's got us there", conceded Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez. "On reflection coming to Washington because we wanted to fix things we didn't like was simply un-American. So back we go."

For Ocasio-Cortez, going back to where she came from will be a long, difficult journey starting with a gruelling taxi ride to Washington's Union Station. From there she will endure the high-speed Acela Express to........
