'It was a solemn privilege to lay a Remembrance cross in Parliament'

At this time of year, remembrance of those who lost their lives in war to protect our freedom is important to our community.

So as well as taking part in local events with our RBL branches and veterans groups, it was a solemn privilege to lay a Remembrance cross in Parliament on behalf of the people of Torfaen in honour of those who sacrificed so much.

As a minister, I’ve been leading efforts to get compensation to victims of the infected blood scandal. This week I updated the House of Commons on the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme and the Public Consultation that is now open.
