What's on in Gwent this weekend: From Halloween markets to an Oasis tribute
There's plenty to keep you busy in Gwent this weekend.
On Saturday, October 18, the Dolman Theatre in Newport will present a staged reading of 'War Of The Worlds The Panic Broadcast', recreating the chaos caused by Orson Welles's 1938 radio adaptation.
The performance will include vintage commercials and live sound effects, offering a thrilling homage to the golden age of radio.
Tickets are priced at £8.50 for children and £15 for adults.
Fans of Oasis won't want to miss "Definitely Oasis," the UK's finest Oasis tribute band, at the Corn Exchange, Newport, on the same day.
The show will run from 7.30 pm to 11.30 pm.
