Torchwood legend co-stars in new interactive crime film filmed in the Vale

A Gwent-born actor and Doctor Who legend is starring in a new interactive film being made partly in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Newport-born Gareth David-Lloyd is co-starring in a new interactive film.

Tides is being filmed in South Wales, with some scenes being filmed in recognisable places such as Penarth Pier and the Clive Arms, and brings together traditional storytelling with interactive, choice-based gameplay elements.

The actor, best known for his roles as Ianto Jones in Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood and Captain Mordial in season four of The Witcher, plays Mark in the crime thriller.
