'Mesmerising' South Wales location used to film series 2 of The Night Manager |
BBC series The Night Manager returned for a second season recently, with an iconic South Wales location featuring among the backdrops for the new series.
Tom Hiddleston (Loki, The Life of Chuck, and more) reprises his role as MI6 officer Jonathan Pine, nearly 10 years after the first series aired on the BBC.
The new series of The Night Manager, based on the book and characters created by John le Carré, follows Pine (Hiddleston) as he races to expose a conspiracy designed to destabilise a nation.
The BBC synopsis continues: "With betrayal at every turn, he must decide whose trust he needs to earn and how far he’s willing to go before it’s too late."
The first series of The Night Manager, which also starred the likes of Hugh Laurie and Olivia Colman, was filmed in a variety of locations, including Marrakesh (standing in for Cairo) and Switzerland.
