At the beginning of The Traitors series four, viewers found out there was in fact a secret traitor hidden amongst the cast, which nobody knew the real identity of.

But before fans found out last week that it was Fiona from Swansea who had been given the special role by host Claudia Winkleman, many were baffled about her choice of faithfuls named on her “murder” list during the first few episodes.

As part of her secret traitor responsibility on the BBC reality game show, local government officer Fiona had been providing the other traitors (Rachel, Hugo and Stephen) with a shortlist of potential “murder” victims, including Netty, Ben and Maz.

However, Fiona has now shared exactly why she decided to target the trio.

Each evening, the traitors slip back into their iconic green cloaks and gather in the turret of Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands to decide whose time is up on the programme.
