Strictly announces huge change for Musicals Week but fans ‘don’t get the point’ |
Strictly Come Dancing has announced a huge change taking place in Musicals Week, just days after the first ever Instant Dance challenge took place.
The BBC dance competition has revealed that at the start of Saturdays (December 6) quarter-final, the remaining couples including Karen Carney and Carlos Gu, will be given an “extra chance to dazzle viewers” in a special relay performance.
Opening this weekend’s themed show, the five-minute segment will see each pair take to the floor as part of a high-energy celebration of musicals, dancing to songs from shows including My Fair Lady, Oliver!, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins Returns.
