Welsh voters could get power to remove members of the Senedd

Voters in Wales could soon have the power to remove members of the Senedd who seriously breach conduct rules.

A new recall mechanism is one of the proposals set out in the draft Senedd Cymru (Member Accountability and Elections) Bill, published on Monday, October 6.

The draft legislation would allow Senedd Members and others more time to see its scope and direction before formal introduction later this year.
