A new Government road safety strategy could help save thousands of lives.

The strategy has been welcomed by Nick Thomas-Symonds, Labour MP for Torfaen, who says the plan marks a "vital step" towards reducing preventable deaths and injuries on the roads.

The Government’s Road Safety Strategy aims to reduce deaths and serious injuries on Britain’s roads by 65 per cent by 2035.
