This afternoon, Chancellor Rachel Reeves and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer faced heavy criticism at PMQs for an apparent 'budget leak'.

The independent Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) analysis of the budget was published in error more than 30 minutes early.

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch has since called for an investigation into the "unprecedented leak".

The OBR has since apologised and launched an investigation after its economic and fiscal outlook document was published early, ahead of the Budget, describing it as a “technical error".
