Fans have been left "gutted" after the final day of BST Hyde Park has been cancelled following Jeff Lynne's ELO pulling out.

The band was due to perform as the headline act for what was supposed to be the "final goodbye" from ELO following a farewell tour in the US.

However, Lynne was forced to withdraw due to medical reasons, which came just days after a withdrawal from a show in Manchester.

Statements have been issued on behalf of ELO and BST Hyde Park, with the final day of the London event being cancelled.
