GMB viewers bid farewell to 'excellent' broadcaster after 26 years

Good Morning Britain (GMB) viewers have said farewell to the programme’s Chief Correspondent Richard Gaisford this morning (December 24).

The programme thanked Gaisford for nearly 30 years of service with a video and message on X: “Thank you, Richard, for 26 years of dedication to public service broadcasting. You have been a definitive voice on our screens and will be greatly missed.”

After his final piece to camera on this morning’s show, Richard was seen speaking to another camera as he reflected on his time on the show.

In his video message on X, he said he would be seeking “new adventures in the coming year”.

A heartfelt goodbye to our Chief........
