Claudia Winkleman teases 'truly extraordinary' Traitors series with 'new' feature
TV presenter Claudia Winkleman has said fans of The Traitors can expect a “truly extraordinary” new series which is set to launch in the coming days.
Series four comes soon after the end of the popular first season of the celebrity version which comedian Alan Carr won as a traitor, fooling the remaining faithfuls.
Winkleman, 53, has teased that there is “something new” that viewers will notice as they take in the action.
The recent first series of The Celebrity Traitors, which aired in the autumn, saw Carr snatch victory from faithful historian David Olusoga and actor Nick Mohammed.
Former rugby player Joe Marler became a fan favourite with his impressive analysis of the game and his friendships with comedian Joe Wilkinson and Mohammed.
Asked if she ever revealed any spoilers to her family, Winkleman said: “Genuinely I’d lose my job. Plus, there’s no fun in knowing. When Alan won my husband and youngest son couldn’t stop screaming and crying and shouting, ‘but you knew’.”
Speaking about the upcoming series, Winkleman added: “There’s something new and what happens in this series is truly extraordinary with moments that made me gasp.
