A crematorium’s memorial post box has inspired a new children’s picture book.

A letters to loved ones post box, like the one in Langstone Vale Crematorium, is included in This Letter Says I Love You, published by Scholastic Books and now available for visitors to read at the site.

The book tells the real-life story behind the post box, which allows people to send letters to loved ones they have lost.
