A Senedd bill aiming to strengthen accountability is facing calls for improvement before becoming law.

The Senedd Cymru Member Accountability and Elections Bill proposes a recall system for Members of the Senedd (MSs) and a new criminal offence for making or publishing false or misleading statements during Senedd election campaigns.
