Seven-year-old Layla from Penpedairheol has won a festive art competition.

Children aged 4-11 were invited to design a festive scene based around Bargoed town centre, with the winning design displayed in a shop window.

Layla's artwork, featuring Bargoed's Guardian Angel statue, caught the judges' eyes.
