An author has secured a publishing deal.

Caerphilly-based writer Niall Walshe has been signed by US publisher Kharis Christian Publishing, based in Illinois, for his book titled Powerless and Irrelevant: How Society sees the Church and how to radically change that view.

The book is set for release on October 3.

Mr Walshe said: "My life was transformed by what the Bible teaches.

"What happened to me should be the norm for all Christians – as New Testament Bible teachings illustrate.
