A surprise choir performance could be just one nomination away.

A private performance from the award-winning Allegra Ladies Choir is up for grabs through the Call the Choir competition, which offers the chance to gift a festive performance to someone special this Christmas.

Nominations can be made for an individual, group, team, or organisation within the South Wales Argus' circulation area to receive a personal Christmas-time performance.

Gavin Thompson, editor of the South Wales Argus, said: "We at the South Wales Argus are thrilled to be working with such a top class choir such as Allegra.

"Getting a personal performance from the choir is an absolutely fantastic opportunity and we encourage you to get your entries in.

"We cannot wait to see all the great reasons why your nominated individual should win the performance."

Nominations can be made for any reason, whether it’s to say thank you, celebrate a special occasion, or simply spread some festive cheer.

The judging panel, which includes the Argus editor and Senedd member Jayne Bryant, will select one winner.
