Coronation Street fans left outraged as fan-favourite axed after 11 years

Coronation Street fans have been left outraged following the axing of a fan-favourite star from the ITV show after 11 years.

Yasmeen Nazir, played by Shelley King, exited the programme on Monday evening (March 10).

Shelly and her character joined the show all the way back in 2014 and were at the centre of a number of major storylines, including a recent one about coercive control.
