RFK Jr. Endorsement May Not Help Trump Beat the “Weird” Allegations

It’s been quite a ride for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the presidential race—filled with memories, shirtlessness, a staunch refusal to under any circumstances listen to a qualified medical professional, and a truly abnormal number of stories about dead animals.

Alas, like the lives of the brain worms, allegedly barbecued dogs, and bears found deceased on a roadside who have had the misfortune of crossing paths with him, it appears Kennedy’s campaign will be meeting a less-than-timely end on Friday in Phoenix. Per CNN, RFK Jr. will be withdrawing from the race that he’s been running as an independent since his unsuccessful Democratic primary challenge to Joe Biden. Kennedy has been said to be “in talks” with Donald Trump—who just announced that his own Friday rally in the same city will feature a “special guest”—about endorsing the Republican nominee’s campaign. RFK Jr., according to earlier reports, had previously made overtures to both Trump and Harris to gauge their interest in receiving his endorsement in exchange for the promise of a role in their potential administrations.
