Strava, the San Francisco-based fitness app company, has fired an employee who was arrested outside a Hayes Valley restaurant Saturday on charges of public intoxication.

The woman, identified by police as Shireen Afkari, worked as the senior manager of growth marketing and retention at Strava, according to her since-deleted LinkedIn. She was taken to San Francisco County Jail after her arrest. Strava shared the news of her dismissal in a comment on an Instagram post originally about the company’s recently released trend report.
