A proposed wealth tax on California’s ultra-rich spawned a frenzy of complaints from some of Bay Area tech’s most outspoken leaders in late December. But the billionaire class is hardly moving in lockstep. In fact, it’s divided.
On one side, there’s Google co-founder Larry Page, reported by Business Insider to have yanked several of his business entities out of California. On the other, there’s Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. The leader of the world’s most valuable company could hardly have sounded less bothered when asked about the wealth tax during a Bloomberg interview on Tuesday.

“You know, I gotta tell you, I haven’t thought about it even once,” Huang said in response to a question about the tax, before emphasizing that though Nvidia has offices around the world, Silicon Valley’s talent pool........
