Joshua Tree announces closure of 2 popular trails through spring |

Joshua Tree National Park recently announced the temporary closure of two of its most popular trails during the park’s busiest seasons.
The Fortynine Palms and Cholla Cactus Garden trails will be partially or fully closed through winter and most of spring, the National Park Service announced Tuesday. The Fortynine Palms trail is closed weekdays and open on weekends, while the Cholla Cactus Garden trail is fully closed.
