Singer D4vd faces a first-degree murder charge with special circumstances in the death of a teenage girl whose decomposing body was found last year inside the trunk of his Tesla in Hollywood.
Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced the charges in a Monday news conference, describing them as “the most serious charges that a DA’s office can bring.” He said the complaint’s special circumstances allegations include lying in wait, killing for financial gain and murdering a witness in an investigation, along with additional filings of felony counts alleging continuous sexual abuse of a child, lewd acts with a child under 14 and unlawful mutilation of human remains.

Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department arrested David Anthony Burke, better known as the singer D4vd, on suspicion of murder.
Detectives arrested Burke, 21, outside his Hollywood home around 5 p.m. on April 16 and booked him into the LAPD 77th Street jail, according to jail records. Burke is being held without bail.
