If you’re not careful or well-prepared, it’s easy for the cost of a Disneyland trip to get out of control quickly. This year, you might even think that a theme park trip is off the table altogether. But there are easy ways to save at Disneyland, and there are times of the year that are significantly more affordable for visiting the park than others.

Disneyland knows that planning is key when it comes to being able to afford a park trip, especially right now. In the past, the company has kept the dates for its seasonal offerings under wraps until close to the openings — but in the past few years, Disney has pivoted to more transparency for better, and more affordable, trip planning. And now, that transparency has also extended to upcoming discounts.

In December, the company created a dedicated Offers & Discounts section of its website. As of publication, the page had offers for current and upcoming ticket deals, merchandise deals and hotel discounts both at Disneyland and Aulani, Disney’s Hawaii resort.

Here’s how to find the most affordable times to visit Disneyland this year, and where to look for discounts.

The prices of Disneyland tickets are determined months in advance and are based on previous demand, so tickets don’t cost the same every day. A tier 0 ticket, the least expensive, could be $104 for a single-day, single-park ticket. The range grows from there to tier 6, the highest price, at $224 for a single-day, single-park ticket. Adding the park-hopping option to access both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure in the same day adds anywhere from about $70 to $90 to that cost. 

The Disney Ticket Calendar, a color-coded calendar showing which days fall into which tier, currently has dates through June 2026. Most midweek dates in January and February are tier 0, and many of the most expensive dates on the calendar so far for 2026, the tier 5 days, are found on Saturdays in May and June. Tier 6 tickets are generally only for the busiest and most popular days of the year, usually around Halloween and the holidays.
