Landslides are affecting the Lost Coast trail in coastal Mendocino County.
Anyone preparing for a hike along Northern California’s famous Lost Coast is being asked to reconsider their plans, as active landslides are currently impacting portions of the trail. Three landslides in the King Range National Conservation Area north of Shelter Cove are causing rocks and other debris to fall onto the Lost Coast Trail, the Bureau of Land Management announced on Friday.
