Dave Flemming has added yet another national television job to his long list of responsibilities away from the San Francisco Giants.
On Tuesday, NBC announced it had named Flemming as its play-by-play broadcaster for the “MLB Sunday Leadoff” games, a weekly traveling national telecast on NBC Sports Network and Peacock that typically starts at noon local time. Flemming’s first game will be this Sunday in Toronto, calling the upstart Pirates taking on the defending American League champion Blue Jays.

“Dave is an elite play-by-play announcer whose knowledge and love for the game comes through in his storytelling and big-game calls for national and local audiences,” NBC Sports Executive Producer Sam Flood said in NBC’s news release. “We are excited to have Dave join our lineup beginning this weekend.”
