It’s way too soon.
I am not yet ready to get hyped up about Christmas.
We should slow down and thoroughly work through each event as it comes.
I am still vexed by Halloween and haunted by Remembrance Day. I often think of, with a smile and a tear, loved ones who were in the armed forces.
My grandfather, who was quite the character, fought in the First World War before immigrating to Canada. I got my red hair from him and although he died when I was young, I have fond memories of his teasing and pranks.
My heart still mourns another who died, not in conflict, but as a soldier. There is so much more to think about during Remembrance Day than we realize. We should recognize our blessings and our debt more than one day a year.
Go to You Tube and watch the video by JP Cormier called Hometown Battlefield.
I am glad the election is over in the US of A, which was a drain........
