This is the perfect time to enjoy a parade because there are many which one can attend. Just about every community, whether city-sized or village-sized, host Santa to a very special cavalcade in his honour.

This is the perfect time to enjoy a parade because there are many which one can attend. Just about every community, whether city-sized or village-sized, host Santa to a very special cavalcade in his honour.

Families flow out onto the sidewalks to watch as festive floats, elves, decorated cars, trucks and big machines lead Santa and his reindeer along the streets, waving and wishing all a Merry Christmas.

This year I was sick, nothing contagious, so took some pain meds and managed to bundle up and go out to cheer for the Otterville parade. It’s held in the evening and the lights are bright and cheery and quite spectacular on every motorized vehicle. Even the really cute pony drawn wagons and many of the walkers collecting for the food bank or handing out candy canes, book marks and other goodies had some illuminations on their hats or around their necks.

Some folks would argue the point but I........
